Kerry Minchinton

Marketing & Events Manager at The Pekoe Group  

Kerry Minchinton is a marketing fiend with a knack for planning events from scratch. You can find her daily at her desk pitching and pitching and pitching some more. She is charged with making sure our clients get as many promotions for "free" as possible. From print and online to appearances and in-theatre talkbacks, Kerry works tirelessly to secure trades and promotions for our shows. Prior to joining the Pekoe Group in 2009, Kerry embarked upon a journey into the casting world for a few years with stints as Casting Associate/Assistant at Tucker / Meyerson Casting, ABC Primetime Casting, The Roundabout Theatre Company, and the Food Network. She was first introduced to theatrical promotions while working as a Marketing Assistant at HHC Marketing. A Minnesota winter survivor, she hails from the land of 10,000 lakes and holds a BA in Theatre and a Business Administration Minor from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. After years in the city, she considers herself a New Yorker and spends free time eating her way through the city's many culinary triumphs and attending as much theatre as she can.

Jesse comes from highly collaborative and creative environments, which aligns perfectly with our ethos of enterprise underpinned by creativity, camaraderie, and achievement. His unique career experience - a blend of account service and corporate communications at both the global and single agency levels - gives him great insight into how all the pieces work together. His particular skill-set is leveraging his analytical skills to extend a company's brand by assimilating complex information quickly and conveying such complicated, nuanced information in an easily digestible form.


Throughout his career Jesse counseled numerous executive-level management teams on corporate positioning, as well as on the crafting and delivery of marketing, executive, internal, external and financial communiqués. He spent his early career in the Philadelphia office of JWG Associates Inc, a national advertising agency. In 1997 he moved to New York City and went to work at J Walter Thompson Specialized Communications, the global advertising powerhouse, where he focused on recruitment advertising. Using the next eight years honing his talents at a boutique PR & corporate communications agency, Jesse then went on to provide independent consulting services before moving to the client-side as the Manager, Communications for a 157-member non-profit organization.


Jesse has also served as an assistant editor at a start-up magazine, and as a fiction editor at Painted Bride Quarterly, an acclaimed literary magazine. This Philadelphia native earned his BA in English from Shippensburg University, and his MS in Publishing from New York University. He has lived in New York since 1997 and still feels it is the absolute center of the universe!
