Eleanor Burgess is a playwriting fellow with the Huntington Theatre in Boston and has had readings of her work at the Arcola Theatre in London, the Next Generation Playwriting Contest in New York, Panndora’s Box in Los Angeles and Broad Horizons Theatre Company in New York. She is also a professional screenwriter, with projects currently in development with Act Four Productions and Indiewood Pictures. She is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and a graduate of Yale College, where she worked with the Yale Dramatic Association and co-founded the professional film production group Bulldog Productions. She has taught History, English, Filmmaking, and Creative Writing in Boston, London and New Haven, and this fall is moving to New York to pursue writing full-time.
