Jesse Deal
(Director of Communications)

Jesse comes from highly collaborative and creative environments. His unique career experience - a blend of account service and corporate communications at both the global and single agency levels - gives him great insight into how all the pieces work together. His particular skill-set is leveraging his analytical skills to extend a company's brand by assimilating complex information quickly and conveying such complicated, nuanced information in an easily digestible form.

Throughout his career Jesse counseled numerous executive-level management teams on corporate positioning, as well as on the crafting and delivery of marketing, executive, internal, external and financial communiqués. He spent his early career in the Philadelphia office of JWG Associates Inc, a national advertising agency. In 1997 he moved to New York City and went to work at J Walter Thompson Specialized Communications, the global advertising powerhouse, where he focused on recruitment advertising. Using the next eight years honing his talents at a boutique PR & corporate communications agency, Jesse then went on to provide independent consulting services before moving to the client-side as the Manager, Communications for a 157-member non-profit organization.

Jesse has also served as an assistant editor at a start-up magazine, and as a fiction editor at Painted Bride Quarterly, an acclaimed literary magazine.
